Thank you for all of your support for our clothing drive to support Outdoor Ed!

This Friday May 20th from 430pm -7pm we are hosting our ALISAL FAMILY MOVIE night… We are happy to present “Aladdin” the movie…. It is $5 per adult (unless you purchased tickets during our auction) Kids are FREE…. We will be selling $2 Nachos Bring your own drinks (non-Alcoholic) and blanket if you want…. Come out and enjoy!

Alisal's teachers and administration along with the PTA would like to celebrate our amazing volunteers around Alisal! We would like to invite EVERYONE who volunteered during this school (or any) year at Alisal, anyone who thought about volunteering but just couldn't quite make it work and anyone who would love to know what volunteers around Alisal actually get done to JOIN US on Thursday, May 26th at 3pm in the MP room.

We do some amazing things here at Alisal and they're only made possible through parent and loved-one involvement. Come join us for snacks as we celebrate Alisal and what we've achieved this year for our students, teachers and greater Alisal community. Teachers and staff will be on hand to provide their special thanks and appreciation for all your efforts.

Mark your calendars -- the Alisal Multicultural Fair is returning Tuesday April 26th in the MP room from 5-8pm. Volunteer setup is from 5:00pm-5:30pm and Alisal Families can begin to roam through the exhibits starting at 5:30pm. Don't miss your chance to interact with a live African Drummer from Cheza Nami Drumming from 6-7pm. Your child can get temporary henna (mehndi) applied too, and much more. Not too mention, some tastings from a variety of cultures for you to sample.

It's still not too late to get your culture/country represented. Poster boards are available for pick up near the front office. Click on the link above for the sign-up genius.

We are happy to announce that the Alisal Multicultural Fair is returning Tuesday April 26th in the MP room from 5-8pm. We need your help to make it a great event. Thank you to all of the families who supported this week's Book Fair and to the many volunteers who made it happen! Alisal receives 25% of all Book Fair sales and earned about $3000 for our school, plus adding many new books to our classroom libraries and the school library.

Congratulations to Marta from Mrs. Payne's class, Damien from Mrs. Fernandez's class, Aaradhana from Ms. Cronin's class, and Eliana from Ms. Salcido's class for winning the raffle from the Ice Cream Social. And congratulations to Reyna from Mr. Giller's class for the closest guess in the guessing game. Reyna guessed 578 erasers, and there were a total of 576 erasers in the container.
