I've Registered My Kid~Now What?

If you made it through the all-new registration process without too many issues, good job! Now, I am sure you are wondering, what comes next?? Well, hopefully, this will answer some of your questions...

You will find out your child's teacher in one of two ways. As teachers are getting their class lists, they are working on reaching out to students and families, beginning that very important step of building relationships. So, it's quite possible you will hear from someone VERY soon. At the latest, by August 7th, you will be able to sign on to Q and see who is lucky enough to be teaching your child(ren) this year!

After finding out who the lucky teacher is, you are going to want to know how to sign on and access all of the amazing remote learning experiences being developed by our AMAZING Alisal staff. No worries here 11:00 on Monday the 10th you will receive detailed information from your teacher(s) about how to sign on and be ready for school on the 11th. Remember that the first two weeks of school will focus on building relationships, community and connections and that having your child be part of the various live sessions being provided each day are key to his/her/their success.

Finally, to hear directly from your teacher all about this new way of learning (because even though we were remote last year, this year, we are going to be WAY better at it!!), please plan to attend Back to School Night on Thursday August 13th. TK-2nd grade parents will sign on to a link provided by their teachers from 6-7 and 3rd-5th grade parents will sign on from 7-8.

Hopefully I have helped to answer a few of the many questions I am sure you have. As I have shared many times, communication is going to be CRITICAL this year. As always, please let us know how better we can support you and your family.

Alisal Remote Learning Bell Schedule

Alisal Families,

We are sharing with you the updated bell schedule for the 2020-21 School Year.

*Please note that this is a GENERAL bell schedule. Schedules or agendas with more detailed information will be coming from your child's teacher.

*We also want to let families know that the first 2 weeks of school for all grade levels will focus on building community, social emotional learning, and learning classroom routines and expectations. Given this unprecedented start to the school year in a remote learning environment, we recognize that it is essential for students to have the opportunity to form connections as a class, with their teacher, and with their school.
